At Ipromea, there’s no denying that we are dog-obsessed. As we celebrate International Women’s Day on 8th March, we thought it was the pawfect opportunity to shine a light on some of the most fur-nomenal famous female dogs throughout history. These exceptional canines have made headlines for their bravery, loyalty, and incredible talents. From saving lives to going to space, these female dogs have proved time and time again that they are truly amazing creatures. 1. Chino, a Field Golden Retriever, embarks on an Ipromea pet probiotic journey in this fun-filled animated advertisement highlighting the benefits Chino and her family go through on her probiotic path. The Advertising Campaign Ipromea, the marketing team at Zakazukha and the talented animators at Caldwell Entertainment have combined their creative minds to produce a colourful animated TVC, hitting screens on the WIN Network next week. Ipromea’s pet probiotic journey advertisement will run over the next 6 months across regional Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. Supported by a digital campaign, Chino’s journey aims to generate awareness around the harmful germs unintentionally transferred from pets to families and show how probiotics especially designed for pets can help keep us safe from unwanted bacteria. The advert adopts a light and humorous tone to convey its message aimed at pet owners and their families, and features images of Chino surfing and getting into general puppy mischief. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALDq9yEdi-E&t=3s Ipromea’s Probiotic Journey The story behind the animation centres around an adorable puppy called Chino, Ipromea’s fabulous petfluencer/dog ambassador, and the first steps of her exciting probiotic adventure. Chino’s story includes her loving family with whom she shares much of her time playing, eating, and sleeping together, but unbeknownst to them all – they are also sharing microbiome and gut issues. Like most puppies learning to exist in the big wide world, Chino find herself getting into all sorts of messes, from licking things she shouldn’t, dragging her bum along floors, rolling in mud, eating flies and rubbish to who knows what else! Consequently, Chino unknowingly picks up and spreads all sorts of disgusting germs to the rest of her family and, unsurprisingly, Chino and the family’s infant start to feel sick. The invisible germs affect and influence their gut microbiome, causing an imbalance which results in gut issues, tummy upsets, and possibly other types of bacteria-related illnesses. But all that changes when… “Chino takes her first big step in her next great adventure… the Ipromea Probiotic Journey.” Ipromea functional pet products are packed full of probiotics that are especially designed to help improve the gut health of your four-legged friends. It helps balance the bacteria in your cat or dog’s gut, so they can stay healthy and active and continue making new friends. Due to taking her daily probiotics, Chino begins to feel happier, healthier and has the energy to do the things she loves – such as surfing! When Chino and her owner visit a dog park, another owner is concerned that Chino is not protected by probiotics. Luckily, she is and Chino’s owner pulls out a bag of Ipromea Beg N’ Bark probiotic treats which he carries everywhere they go. Chino’s story teaches us about the dangers of harmful bacteria on unsuspecting pet owners and the importance of keeping families protected via regular probiotic supplement intake. It also educates more people about the benefits of probiotics for pets, and how Ipromea probiotics are designed with dog and cat-specific probiotic strains which target microbiome or gut bacteria – ultimately, balancing good and bad bacteria to maintain general health and well-being. To find out more about the extensive research behind pet probiotics, visit Ipromea. There are numerous studies supporting the many benefits of probiotics for our beloved fur babies. Chino The Surfing Pup The story of Chino starts with the tragic passing of Porkchops, a beloved surfing British Bulldog with over 165,000 Instagram followers. The teams at Ipromea and Brisbane breeders Activ Goldens partnered together to help Porkchop’s grieving owner, Sam Rollinson, a surf instructor at Go Ride a Wave – Surfers Paradise, by gifting him with an adorable Golden Retriever pup. These days, Porkchops’ legacy continues on – Sam enjoys teaching Chino to surf the waves on the beaches of the sunny Gold Coast. Read Chino’s story full story here. The 30.4 million pets in Australia today are receiving improved levels of care with the increase in gut health remedies according to a Gold Coast company and local veterinarian. Pet probiotic company, Ipromea, launched a year ago and has already exceeded their predicted product sales by 300 percent. “The probiotic trend that has already swept through other countries is starting to catch on in Australia as more people are grasping the importance of gut health for their pets, which is similar to the benefits for humans,” said Tony Davis, Ipromea Group Brand Manager. “Within a year, despite launching during COVID-19, we’ve managed to grow rapidly, with this month’s sales expected to reach between 75 and 85 thousand units and there’s so many more brands popping up offering similar products on the market.”

A new pup will hopefully heal the hole left by the unexpected passing of the Gold Coast’s very own Instafamous surfing dog, Porkchops the British Bulldog. Facing the loss of his best friend and surfing companion, it has not been easy for owner Sam Rollinson, but a new Golden Retriever puppy called Chino from sponsors Ipromea and breeders Activ Goldens should help. “Losing a pet is like losing a best friend, and no matter how great their diet is and how active their lifestyle is like Porkchops, some dog’s lifespans are already determined by their genetics,” said Mr Rollinson. “Nothing can properly fill the void of losing my best friend, but the gift of a puppy such as Chino is definitely a new friendship that will grow and help me recover from my loss.” The existing relationships that Sam has managed to develop through Porkchops meant that Ipromea and Activ Goldens could take their partnership with him to a whole new level by gifting Sam a gorgeous puppy. The partnership will follow the journey and life stages of Chino taking probiotics from a pup to becoming an adult dog and monitor the health benefits via microbiome testing. The new puppy’s name, Chino, is a play on the product that was developed by Porkchops with the help of Ipromea called the Porkchoppuccino. “I knew I would want another dog eventually and it didn’t necessarily need to be another British Bulldog. It just so happens that the best surfing dog in the world is a Golden Retriever called Ricochet , so she is the perfect breed to train to surf so we can continue Porkchop’s legacy.” Chino will eventually take over Porkchop’s Instagram page that has 165,000 followers. Activ Goldens has a top breeding lineage, also known as the ‘Porsche of the dog world’ and Chino is one of those puppies that is destined for great things. Ipromea Brand Manager Tony Davis is excited by this next phase of their partnership with Sam and Chino, where they will follow her journey of learning to surf plus maintaining her health through probiotics. “Everyone in the community is saddened by the loss of Porkchops and to show our continued support for Sam, we jumped on this opportunity to gift him a puppy that will learn to surf with him and go on an amazing probiotic health journey from the very beginning,” said Mr Davis. “Partnering with Activ Goldens made sense to us because they not only breed some top dogs, but they also happen to be working alongside Probiotics Australia, the science behind our products, on an upcoming release of probiotic products for dogs.” Chino is set to jump onto the surfboard and become one of the best surfing dogs in the world. Training with the best at Go Ride a Wave – Surfers Paradise . Ipromea will have a tent at the upcoming Paws at the Park on Sunday 7 November at Country Paradise Parklands, Nerang, where visitors can meet Chino and learn more about pet probiotics, microbiome testing and much more. The Gold Coast’s most insta-famous pooch, Porkchops the British Bulldog, has released his own trademarked coffee recipe – a healthier version of the much-loved Puppuccino. Created in time to launch at the bi-annual Paws at the Park dog market event in Mudgeeraba this week, the Porkchopuccino is a play on the Starbuck’s phenomenon that has swept the world, but this new version includes a few Ipromea pet probiotic goodies for gut health. Porkchops has an Instagram following of almost 170,000 and shot to fame as the face of Sam Rollinson’s Go Ride a Wave Surf School in Surfers Paradise. “People love giving their dogs treats, but the original Puppuccino is not much more than cream in a cup, so not very good for them,” Sam said. “As Porkchops is an ambassador for local pet probiotic company, Ipromea, we thought we’d partner with them on something new that he could enjoy while at the café – whilst also getting the added health benefits. “The result is the Porkchopuccino, a drink based on lactose free milk with a shot of wonder supplement, Zoonatant™, and other probiotic goodies including ground up Ipromea Beg N’ Bark Clean Treats as the chocolate sprinkles.” Porkchops is so sure his new creation will be a hit with his four-legged friends that he and partner Ipromea has engaged an intellectual property lawyer to trademark it. As part of the bi-annual Paws in the Park this weekend, the Porkchopuccino will be available to buy at the Bean Bender coffee cart. The Ipromea stand, where Porkchops will be greeting visitors, will be giving away vouchers for a free Porkchopuccino for anyone who enters their competition to win a Pet Microbiome Test Kit plus other Ipromea product prizes. Ipromea Brand Manager Tony Davis said having a presence at this event via a stand and ambassadors Porkchops and Dr Claire Stevens will help people learn more about the importance of gut health for dogs. “As they are a crucial part of our family, we share more than you think with our pets – especially when it comes to gut microbiome,” Tony said. “Probiotics for pets restores your dog’s natural microbiome from head to tail and everywhere in between. “With your dog’s digestive system making up around 80% of their immune defence, gut health for your dog should be a top priority.” Paws at the Park is on this Saturday 28 August from 9am – 2pm at the Mudgeeraba Showgrounds.
